In accordance with KVKK No. 6698, your personal data shared with merwacademy.com may be obtained, recorded, stored, modified, reorganized, in whole or in part, automatically or non-automatically provided that it is part of any data recording system, and may be processed by us as subject to all kinds of operations performed on data. All kinds of operations performed on data within the scope of KVKK are considered as “processing of personal data”.

In order for you to benefit from the services provided by the Data Controller; fulfilling legal obligations included in the contract such as application procedures of foreign students to universities, document procedures, contacting you when necessary, informing you about contractual developments, determining strategies for you within the scope of the contract based on your personal data, recording your suggestions and complaints, determining commercial business strategies to increase satisfaction and efficiency according to your suggestions and complaints, recording and tracking information and developments regarding payments, informing you about advertisements, promotions, and campaigns, creating analysis, listing, reporting, profiling, and statistical data within the scope of contractual services, fulfilling the requests of public institutions and organizations in cases required by legal regulations — your personal data will be processed and transferred for these purposes.

In accordance with Article 4 of the KVKK, your personal data will be processed in compliance with the law and good faith, for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes, in a limited and proportionate manner related to the purpose for which they are processed.

Your personal data; within the scope of provisions regarding transfer and international transfer under KVKK, may be shared and transferred for the purposes and legal reasons stated in this form to domestic and/or foreign private/public universities, Ministry of National Education (MEB), Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), audit and accounting firms, law offices, judicial authorities, business partners, employees, and other third parties, institutions, and organizations from whom we receive services domestically and/or abroad.

Method of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data;

• Through forms on merwacademy.com website and mobile applications, including name, surname, address, phone, business or personal email address; user preferences on pages accessed with username and password, IP records of transactions, cookie data collected by the browser, browsing duration and details, location data,
• From individuals who share their personal data via business cards, CVs, offers, and other means for purposes such as establishing a commercial relationship, job applications, or providing offers, in physical or virtual environments, face-to-face or remote, verbally, in writing, or electronically,

Since merwacademy.com did not start its publication life before April 7, 2016, the effective date of KVKK, there is no personal data stored before this date.

merwacademy.com is obliged to take technical and administrative measures such as encryption, hashing, logging, and access management to prevent unlawful processing and unauthorized access to personal data and to ensure their protection in accordance with Article 12 of KVKK.
